Every once in awhile, it is fun to switch things up and do something I hadn’t planned. This post is all about that serendipitous path to making a cute critters Christmas challenge card. The August challenge at Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge is to use a cute critter. Lawn Fawn always comes to mind for cute images, so I dug into my stash to find stamps and dies. Here is the resulting cuteness.

All of the stamped and die cut images are Lawn Fawn. Images are colored with Copic markers. The sentiment is heat embossed with a red glitter embossing powder from my stash. The background is a stencil and mask, also from my stash. These are ink blended with Altenew inks. The finishing touch is to use Stickles for some sparkle on this standard 4.25″ x 5.5″ card.

If you need inspiration or want to try something new, consider doing a themed challenge. It is a lot of fun!
