Martha Stewart Double Arches Large Punch Around The Page™ Set and CTMH Sonoma
This punch set is really big. I was surprised at how large it was when it arrived in the mail yesterday. The card above is 6″ x 6″ Colonial White CTMH cardstock. I punched the front and back (inside of card) so that the pretty loops go all the way around the card. The Olive…

Halloween Cards to Mail
It is easy (easier?) to make cards that look fabulous with lots of bling, bows, and embellishments to add pizzazz. I find it a lot more challenging to make interesting cards that will fit easily in a regular envelope. Because I’m interested in making more cards for Operation Write Home, I’m trying to focus on…

Card Challenge Using One Sketch
The color choice was inspired by dd2’s watercolor in the background There are hundreds, maybe even thousands, of different card sketches to choose from when designing a card. I almost never use ANY of them. It occurred to me the other night, as I was trying to fall asleep, that maybe it would be a…

Roxie Card
The new Background and Texture (B & T) Papers from Close To My Heart are now a heavier weight. From CTMH’s website they list the weights as follows: My Reflections® B&T Duos® papers: 100 lb. (accent opaque text weight) Cardstock: 65 lb. (cover weight) I wanted to see how well they’d work as a card base. Here…

Wonderland B & T with Key Moments Stamp Set
The new Wonderland paper from CTMH is a set of wintery blues with a bit of Chocolate, Grey Flannel, and Spring Iris mixed in. I wanted to make a non-wintery card with these papers to show their versatility. And I live in the desert, so winter themed things aren’t usually very popular here. 🙂

Grey Flannel is Such a Pretty Color
CTMH Live Inspired Stamp Set, Die-Cut Card base This card is made with the new CTMH Mischief B & T papers and also the oftentimes forgotten (by me) Grey Flannel card stock. The stamp set is one of my favorites and I was so glad to see that it made it into the new catalog.…

Shaker Card
This fun card is a standard size card base with a Colonial White frame made with a transparency sheet sandwiched with 3 D Foam. I stamped images from CTMH’s Snow Flurries set using Versamark ink on black cardstock and then embossed using White Daisy powder. Inside the sandwich, I poured some ancient white chunky glitter.

Ms. Holiday Cheer
The first two are paper pieced and fun flocked. There is a little liquid applique on her hat. Both of these were embossed, one in silver – the other in gold. I used CTMH’s Twinkle Brads for the ornaments and star. This stamp set is so cute! Here are a few of the cards I made…

More Christmas Cards
This is a window card and the one below has a ribbon for a belly band to hold it together. Both would be great as gift enclosures due to their smaller size.

CTMH (Faux) Glimmer Mist
These cards were made by spraying CTMH’s White Daisy cardstock with Outdoor Denim Reinker mixed with Create A Shade Pearl Paint and rubbing alcohol. It dries fairly quickly, but does tend to curl the paper a bit. The last card is a circle card from a design in the Wishes book by Jeanette Lynton.
